The Mauritian Briyani (Biryani), one of the most favourite dishes of Mauritian cuisine, like the Dholl Puri. Usually cooked in a Deg, it can also be prepared using a rice cooker, as the above the vegetable pulao. Served with salad, satini or pickles. Washed down with Pepsi/Coke or the traditional chilled Alouda. Typical Mauritian.
HOT/3 or Hot under the Rule of Thirds – that was the 3rd theme of the PAPM. There are numerous interpretations of hot, and my initial one was that of using chilli pepper.
