the handsome lego-man is losing his smile :( you should draw it again :). Great pictures. keep it up !
I already have. :)
Actually, I have 2 of them. This was the spare one, with the half-smile. :)
I really liked the cliffs and caves part.
If I'm not mistaken the "giant tomatoes" are "anghives" — aka brinzel angiv, or Solanum macrocarpon —, which are very sour. (In any case they belong to the same genus as tomatoes.)
For my part I quite like the photo with the chilies and, again, I'm amazed by the quality of your macro-photographs.
Incidentally, nowadays doctors know how to do face transplants.
Funny how comments tend to come and go these days. Let's give it another try.

I actually see both comments in my mail inbox (automatically sent when someone comments), but Disqus only registered the last one. Weird.
Most compact cameras are very good at macro mode (the small lens helps), but I have to admit that mine is only good at macro. Don't know if you noticed it, but in some of the landscape photos, only the middle third of the photo is sharp (the other thirds are blurry).
Incidentally, you can transplant the face of these LEGO minifigs. :)
As far as my compact camera is concerned, most of the time I can't get very close to the subject or it will be out of focus.
"only the middle third of the photo is sharp"
I have noticed also that the corners of my pictures are blurred. I'm thinking more and more of buying a decent camera (SLR), but I have been out of touch with all this for so long that I don't even know where to look for a proper one in Mauritius. A few days ago I got my old Minolta X-300 out of the cupboard in which it was slowly but surely decaying (and it is indeed starting to fall apart, thanks to our tropical climate), and it made me all nostalgic.....
Nice one! It's like one of those Pixar shorts. :)
GAME were selling the base model Nikon D3100 + 18-55mm lens for Rs 19,500. I don't know if they'll be bringing back the promo as they're closing down. I would still recommend a hands-on trial before getting a DSLR.
LEGO-Man is fading out and his adventures have scratched his body. Needs a fresh wardrobe.
These are battle scars. Meant to be worn proudly. :p
