The HEAT Tuning and Moto Expo at Jumbo Phoenix.
& I was there for only one reason. Supercars.
The Audi R8.
The 4.2L V8 420HP engine.
The Audi R8 being parked alongside the other supercars which included Ferraris, a Porsche but not the Maserati.
The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.
The 612 has a 5.7L V12 540HP engine.
The Prancing Horse.
The Ferrari F430.
The F430’s 4.3L V8 490HP engine.
The Porsche Cayman S.
BMW Z4.
BMW 645Ci.
Mitsubishi Evo VIII.
The Lexus IS F.
Nissan 350Z.
Moving on to the other cars, there’s a Mazda RX-7.
BMW M3.
Some of the tuned cars…
Chrysler 300 SRT8.
Toyota Celica.

LCD screen on pop-up headlights.
The other part of the expo was about motorcycles… which I must admit, I’m not very interested in.
A BMW motorcycle.

Eventually, even my camera realised that my understanding of motorcycles didn’t go beyond the brand, so it decided to stop me from shooting any more photos.
So that was the end of the Expo, where I was very satisfied to shoot the Ferraris but a bit disappointed that the Maserati came in just after I left. I would love if in the future they organised a Mega Expo Show where they bring in all the major supercars of Mauritius, including a certain… Lamborghini. :)
Meanwhile… I need to get myself one of these t-shirts!

Ha, that's the reason why there was such a traffic jam at Phoenix yesterday, with cars parked everywhere along the roads and swarms of onlookers. Oh God...
No one has the Nissan GTR in Mauritius?
There are a couple of GT-R R35s in Mauritius.
Ther is one GTR 35 in Mauritius. Will try to upload a picture.
Among all the cars posted in this blog my favourite is the M3.

Nice review of the Expo, with a little mistake from your part, this is not the F430 Scuderia, but simply a F430, the Scuderia is a lighter, tuned, more powerful version of the F430 with some distinct design features.

the most interesting thing about the expo were the girls. the cars i will never be able to afford, but the girls, they are alive.

Yep, most pics have been edited to remove the car numbers & some pics have had their exposure/gamma decreased because it was very sunny!
No, I didn't take any pics of girls because I don't really like all that sexploitation.

Yes, it's a bit of sexploitation, but I cannot condemn it because I liked being there.
The last time, at Trianon, I regretted not taking pictures, 'out of respect'. I still regret not taking those pics to date.

There's no Shelby 500 GT in Mru man. The real Shelby is a monster of a car. This one is an old Ford Capri of 1970 with some serious facelift work..
I know it's not a Shelby, that's why the quotes. I saw the logo & then I saw the engine... :p
always the same cars.. here in mru people tend to mix tuning and motor shows. the only show i ever appreciated were in 2005, SVICC..
concerning the show where all the supercars in mauritius come together, it sounds beautiful, but do you think they care? they are more of 'les mecs qui portent les costumes' if you get what i meant :)
