Cremation Ground

This cremation ground might look new with the shelter & the walled area, but only a decade ago, all there was a few pile of rocks. If you travelled by the road, sometimes you could clearly see the burning pyres.

  1. This place looks looked after and tidy enough. I don't know why, but  lot of cremation grounds look more like "dépotoirs" than anything else. When you bring you deceased one there, it is as if you are going to a dump site.

  3. Indeed, I remember going to the cremation ground in the north of Triolet & it wasn't a pretty sight.
